The blade has a three-layer structure with the VG-10 steel core sandwiched by stainless steel, which is rigid and resistant to rust, achieving long-lasting sharpness. With the use of this knife, bread can be cut with the smooth cross section since the shape of the bread does not deform easily. Making the serrations at the tip of the blade more gentle reduces the generation of crumbs when the bread is cut.
