We started tax exemption service at our directly managed store "Ryusen factory ＆ store".

(1)【What is tax exemption?】
This is a system which allows customers who do not live in Japan to purchase items without consumption tax.
*Service fees (workshops, tours, sharpening, etc.) are not included.

(2)【Persons eligible for tax exemption】
・International customers
Non-Japanese persons who have entered Japan within the last 6 months.

・Japanese customers living abroad
Japanese persons residing overseas who have temporarily returned to and been in Japan for less than 6 months.

If you are eligible, please show your own passport at the time of purchase.

(3)【Important considerations before purchase】
・（Regarding general items) Total purchase amount in a single day in the same store must be \5,000 or more.

・Tax exemption is not possible for persons who do not present their own physical passport and other relevant documentation.

・If you entered Japan through an automated entry gate, you must receive a stamp in your passport verifying your entry date in order to apply for tax exemption.

・If you use a credit card, the name on your passport must match the name on your credit card.

・Each country has its own prohibitions and restrictions regarding the import of certain items (for example, knives with horn handles in violation of the Washinton Convention, etc.).
